Vintage Mary Quant Kawaii Tee Shirt 90s Anime Style Top Tiny Fit VFG
So cute! This tiny fit vintage tee shirt is easy to date, given the graphic that says Mary Quant Cosmetics, 1999, Japan UK. The charming young lady in the graphic looks inspired by Japanese anime as well as Peter Max. She is adorned with hearts, stars, and the iconic Mary Quant stylized daisies. The following year, Quant resigned as director of her cosmetics company after a Japanese buyout.

FABRIC/COLORS: White knit, feels like cotton, typical higher end tee-shirt material, and opaque as opposed to see-through. The graphic is done in pewter gray with a few flecks of sparkle - I suspect it was more shimmery when brand new. The care labels are not in English - I assume it's Japanese.

For womenswear, the bust is measured a little below armpit level, including the room created by darts or gathers.
Waist will be measured if there is one, and hips are measured about 9" below waist level. Sleeves are measured from shoulder seam or an approximation in the absence of a shoulder seam. Garment length is measured from the back of the neck, unless otherwise stated.
