MagsRags debuted on eBay in 2001, and I have more than 1000 feedback, 100% positive (so far). But I’ve been fascinated by vintage clothing and accessories since my college years, in the late 60s/early 70s. I started wearing vintage. Back then it was a fashion statement - and my soul responded to the fabrics and designs and historical resonance of older garments. For me, vintage has always been like a stray puppy – it just follows me home, whether I have room or not, and whether it fits me or not! Prior to the birth of internet selling, I held rare trunk sales out of my home or in my back yard. Now, thanks to the information super highway, my finds are spread across the U.S. and internationally, from the UK to Malaysia.

I started out in the Chicago area, and settled in the Pacific Northwest about in the mid-1980s. Before retirement, my day job was in women's health care, and my family and I have always been involved on local theater – acting, directing, and (of course!) costuming.
