90s Vintage Oversize Men's Poet Shirt Black & White Batik Style Print Synergy VFG
This vintage SE Asian shirt is so easy to wear, looks great on men or women, and this is a nice larger size. The shirt is designed to fit loosely, and even flow a bit. The sleeves are batwing; ie, deep at the armpit sockets. Collar is modest - there is a single patch pocket on the upper left, and a deep shirttail hem.
SIZE: Labeled Medium, but oversized, and therefore can go larger, especially for a female.

FABRIC/COLORS: Fabric is rayon, with a dry hand, and nice draping. It looks like batik, not sure if authentic. The pattern is of small white motifs, arranged vertically, with shapes that remind me of sword blades or daggers, against a black background.

CLOSURES: Six squarish black plastic buttons down the front, with one on each cuff, and a spare on the inside front.
CONDITION: On my third inspection, I found a small faint discoloration on the left shirtfront next to the placket near the bottom - see closeup. Given the nature of the print, it is quite subtle. No other issues noted.
I measure the outside of garments, unless stated otherwise.
For menswear, the chest is measured at armpit level.
For womenswear, the bust is measured a little below armpit level, including the room created by darts or gathers.
Waist will be measured if there is one, and hips are measured about 9" below waist level. Sleeves are measured from shoulder seam or an approximation in the absence of a shoulder seam. Garment length is measured from the back of the neck, unless otherwise stated.
The measurement numbers refer to the garment, not the body inside. For best fit, measure a similar type of garment which fits you well and compare.
If the garment is shown on Josephine, my mannequin, her measurements are 31/24.5/34". Sometimes she wears a padded bra. My live models measurements vary depending on the day and year, and I don't ask them to share that.
