70s Vintage Silver White Lurex Maxi Dress and Cropped Jacket Outfit Small VFG

$ 85.00 Sale Save

Two fab pieces that look great together but each can stand alone! Wouldn't this dress be cute shortened to mini length? The dress has a fitted houndstooth bodice that is high waisted in front, angles down a bit in back, flaring A-line skirt, waist and neck trimmed in the lighter silver with a tiny bow at the waistfront.

The cropped fitted jacket is done primarily in the houndstooth fabric, with front placket, oversized collar and banded waist in the solid fabric. There is a bomber jacket feel to it with a disco vibe!

 FABRIC/COLORS: No fabric content tag, feels like a poly/metallic blend. Fabrics are light weight knits with a slick jersey backing. Main fabric is silver & white lurex, giving an overall pale gray look. The other fabric uses more silver and weaves it in a houndstooth pattern with white - the colors come off as sparkly medium gray and white with a hint of sparkle.

TAGS: No tags except for ones advising dry clean only

CLOSURES: The dress closes with a long nylon zipper in back. The jacket has four self fabric covered buttons down the front.

CONDITION: Very faint discoloration on the jacket at the back of the neck, no other issues seen.

I measure the outside of garments, unless stated otherwise.

For menswear, the chest is measured at armpit level.

For womenswear, the bust is measured a little below armpit level, including the room created by darts or gathers.

Waist will be measured if there is one, and hips are measured about 9" below waist level. Sleeves are measured from shoulder seam or an approximation in the absence of a shoulder seam. Garment length is measured from the back of the neck, unless otherwise stated.

The measurement numbers refer to the garment, not the body inside. For best fit, measure a similar type of garment which fits you well and compare.

If the garment is shown on Josephine, my mannequin, her measurements are 31/24.5/34". Sometimes she wears a padded bra. My live models measurements vary depending on the day and year, and I don't ask them to share that.
