60s Men's Shirt Vintage Mesh Embroidered Dragon Saigon Vietnam Small to Medium VFG
What a fabulous shirt, vintage 1960 with a twist! Nicely tailored with flat felled seams and back yoke for ease. Small curved collar with thread reinforced holes (similar to the holes in a cloth belt for the tongue of the buckle) to use a collar pin under your necktie. Gorgeous embroidered dragon on the left chest pocket in shades of red and gold.

FABRIC/COLORS: Lightweight white semisheer slippery fabric that is woven in a mesh pattern, although there aren't any actual openings. I am guessing it is nylon, but there's no extra fabric to snip off for a burn test.
TAGS: Elegant, then a street address that's hard to decipher, then Saigon
CLOSURES: Five pearly plastic buttons down the front. Cuffs close with a single button.
CONDITION: Excellent. I don't see any stains, holes, tears or even snags. I have repaired some open side seams.The label is quite worn.
I measure the outside of garments, unless stated otherwise.
For menswear, the chest is measured at armpit level.
For womenswear, the bust is measured a little below armpit level, including the room created by darts or gathers.
Waist will be measured if there is one, and hips are measured about 9" below waist level. Sleeves are measured from shoulder seam or an approximation in the absence of a shoulder seam. Garment length is measured from the back of the neck, unless otherwise stated.
The measurement numbers refer to the garment, not the body inside. For best fit, measure a similar type of garment which fits you well and compare.
If the garment is shown on Josephine, my mannequin, her measurements are 31/24.5/34". Sometimes she wears a padded bra. My live models measurements vary depending on the day and year, and I don't ask them to share that.
