60s Vintage Mod Mini Jumpsuit Scooter Women's Houndstooth Wool Hot Pants M/L VFG Pant'her Plus College Town
Is it a romper or a onesie? Hot pants or a scooter minidress that is actually pants? Whatever. It is circa late 1960s, very Mod and very cute! It is designed for comfortable fit, with soft darting at the bust. There is no waist seam. The ribknit collar can be worn open or fully zipped like a faux turtleneck, There are two large hand warmer patch pockets, with the plaid diagonally placed. The romper is shown in some photos with a wide elastic belt from my closet for inspiration - belt is not included with purchase.
SIZE: No size label. It is not pinned on my model.

FABRIC/COLORS: Wool - or wool blend - plaid, in a charming pattern of larger and smaller black & white houndstooth. The fabric has fused synthetic black jersey material - no layer of foam, so no need to worry about "devil dust". The stand-up collar is a soft black ribbed knit - my best guess is that it's synthetic.

CLOSURES: A beefy brass zipper down the front, with an oversized rectangular pull. The patch pockets each have a functional black button.
CONDITION: In some light, I can see faint discoloration under the right arm - see closeup. There are also a couple of very light tannish spots on the front one at bust level, just to the left of the zipper - see second closeup. The other is just to the right of the zipper near its bottom - see third closeup. Given the nature of the plaid, these are hard to spot unless you are really looking. No other issues noted.
I measure the outside of garments, unless stated otherwise.
For menswear, the chest is measured at armpit level.
For womenswear, the bust is measured a little below armpit level, including the room created by darts or gathers.
Waist will be measured if there is one, and hips are measured about 9" below waist level. Sleeves are measured from shoulder seam or an approximation in the absence of a shoulder seam. Garment length is measured from the back of the neck, unless otherwise stated.
The measurement numbers refer to the garment, not the body inside. For best fit, measure a similar type of garment which fits you well and compare.
If the garment is shown on Josephine, my mannequin, her measurements are 31/24.5/34". Sometimes she wears a padded bra. My live models measurements vary depending on the day and year, and I don't ask them to share that.
