Half Slip 60s Rose Pink Nylon Vintage Deadstock Lingerie Lace Trim VFG by Aria
Such a pretty half slip, in a luscious shade of rose pink and with the wide band of lace at the hem! Hard to date, but my best guess is late 60s to early 70s.
SIZE: Labeled Large, but measurements suggest small to medium. Waist measurement taken relaxed - gently stretched.

FABRIC/COLORS: Rose pink nylon jersey. The lace is palest pink.
TAGS: No maker's tag, but there is a pasteboard tag sewn into the waist elastic with RN# 18200, which corresponds to Aria Lingerie Co in New York. My research found that Aria was incorporated in 1965, and dissolved in 1991.
CLOSURES: N/A, the slip pulls on.
CONDITION: The slip is most likely New Old Stock, since the paper tag would not have survived the first wash. I found no signs of wear, and no stains, holes, tears or other issues.

For menswear, the chest is measured at armpit level.
For womenswear, the bust is measured a little below armpit level, including the room created by darts or gathers.
Waist will be measured if there is one, and hips are measured about 9" below waist level. Sleeves are measured from shoulder seam or an approximation in the absence of a shoulder seam. Garment length is measured from the back of the neck, unless otherwise stated.
The measurement numbers refer to the garment, not the body inside. For best fit, measure a similar type of garment which fits you well and compare.
If the garment is shown on Josephine, my mannequin, her measurements are 31/24.5/34". Sometimes she wears a padded bra. My live models measurements vary depending on the day and year, and I don't ask them to share that.
