What a handsome vintage lounging jacket, and in a hard-to-find larger size! It is a classic design, with shawl collar, minimal shoulder padding and gentle shaping of the body. The contrasting collar and deep cuffs set things off nicely, along with the welted slash handwarmer pockets and smaller left chest pocket.

FABRIC/COLORS: The primary fabric is a woven plaid check using maroon, black, and two shades of tan. The trim is done in coordinating maroon - I believe both fabrics are wool. The jacket is fully lined in maroon satin.

CLOSURES: Two dark red plastic buttons
CONDITION: The lining shows a water-type stain along the left bottom - see closeup. It is not visible from the outside, and I see no other stains, and no issues like holes or tears.
