What a great 1940s to early 1950s vintage necktie, combining Art Deco and Atomic elements! Smooth matte finish, probably rayon. The primary color is black, with soft muted shades of mauve and yellow along with some cream. The print features a large diagonally placed section of 3D looking checkerboard, ascending into a color striped column, overlaid with narrow swirls, and enhanced by the spatter effect. Hard to describe, great to look at!

CONDITION: Very good. Two pinholes in the black part of the print. They’re difficult to see unless you look closely. They would be even less noticeable if a black Sharpie was used to carefully darken the lighter lining fabric underneath. No stains or other issues seen.
