60s Mod Women's Dress & Coat Vintage Nehru Collar Paisley Trim Small to Medium VFG
This vintage 1960s Mod dress and coat set is simply Fantastic! The dress is a fitted short sleeved sheath, so striking with the sharp contrast of dark top, white skirt and vibrant paisley patterned waist accent. Add the long fitted white coat, with its nehru collar, and multiple bands of paisley trim, for a stunning effect. The coat is open in front below the waist, with a bit of flare. It's fully lined.

FABRIC/COLORS: The creamy white fabric is doubleknit with a subtle diagonal weave, most likely a poly/acrylic blend, based on a fiber burn test. The dark brown is also a sturdy but slightly stretchy synthetic, a little lighter weight than the white. The accent fabric seems to be a synthetic doubleknit also, using s strong shade of bittersweet orange along with brown and a little white. The pattern is mostly paisley with a bit of zigzag triangular striping.
TAGS: No maker's tag, but it was probably a good one, since it still has its Joseph Magnin tag.
CLOSURES: The dress has a long nylon zipper down the back. The coat closes with eleven spherical white plastic buttons and loops, with one hook & eye at the waist.
CONDITION: I see three tiny light rust dots on the back right shoulder of coat. I repaired a 3" open seam on the coat lining at the waist. No other issues noted.
