The fabric used for this 1940s vintage necktie is amaaazzing, one of my favorites ever. It's almost certainly rayon, woven into a gorgeous brocade/jacquard pattern that is vaguely reptilian, with a dark and dangerous chaotic undertone. The main color is maroon with dark electric blue, and pale gold. The tie is unlined with top stitching at both ends, typical of an earlier age.
