This vintage 1940s Hollyvogue necktie features a scenic novelty print in an unusual colorway. The fabric is a lovely faille, probably rayon, but feels silky The nature print has an Arts & Crafts feel to me - it depicts a quiet stream with dramatically bare trees and other foliage and mountains in the background, all done in cream and a soft lavender-ish shade of periwinkle. The tie is unlined with the exception of a bit of sizing tucked deep inside.
