This is a very striking 1940s vintage necktie! It is ultrawide, done in a satin jacquard that features cattleya orchids in the weave. The geometric print uses triangle and diamond patterns with overlays that remind me of fishing nets and stylized atomic rays. The fabric is most likely rayon - colors are dark red, peach and cream, with a bit of dark brown.
