This 1940s vintage necktie features a beautiful graphic of a peacock posing on an artfully spiky branch in soft shades of blue, peach, coral and white against a dark red background. The fabric is most likely rayon with a soft silky feel - it may be a jersey knit, given structure by the acetate type dark yellow lining.
