This vintage 1970s Lanvin gown is simply elegant, whether you wear it as lingerie or out as a party dress! Camisole style "neckline" formed by a double layer of 1/2" wide lace - that serves as the tunnel for self fabric corded drawstring. Double spaghetti straps are the same. Long narrow column silhouette with vertical crystal pleats. Neckline accented by a floaty double layer of lightweight satin.
SIZE: No size label. The size has some flexibility - the above bust measurement can be made smaller with the drawstring, and the crystal pleating allows for quite a bit of variability from one body type to another. The above bust circumference was tightened a bit to fit her torso, but the dress itself was not pinned on Josephine. The bust/waist/hips measurements were done with the dress laying flat - you can generally figure on at least 10" leeway if needed.

FABRIC/COLORS: The gown is black. Feels like a synthetic, probably poly - crystal pleated semisheer chiffon crepe. The bodice ruffle is also semisheer, satin surfaced. Care tag says it can be hand washed and drip dried.
