30s 40s Men's Pleated Front Dress Pants Vintage Palm Beach Cloth
- Description
A wonderful pair of men's trousers, 1930s to 1940s! Loaded with classic details, including double pleating in front, comfortable straight column pantlegs, and turned-up cuffs. This pair has a sewn-in waistband, but has the typical narrow belt loops that will accommodate a belt up to 1.25" wide. There are roomy inset sideseam pockets, a pair of bound pockets in back, and a small watch pocket just below the waistband on the right front. The fly front and upper inner pantlegs are reinforced with lightweight unbleached cotton.
SIZE: No size label. Men's pants of this era came with ample seam allowance in the center back waist so that the owner could have them easily adjusted for fit. This pair has an extra 2.25" available at waist level if you want to have them let out a bit.
Letting the cuffs down is also a potential option for longer inseam.
